Joined Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata as Associate Professor in 1994. Currently Senior Professor, SINP.
Coauthor of more than fifty publications in international journals. Guide to four Ph. D. theses in the area of Quantum Field Theory.
Extra curricular activities:
Won first prize in Malayalam poetry competition, school division, conducted by Mathrubhumi Weekly in 1971 and 1972.
(Poems "Dussasanan" and "Anudyutaparvam" inspired by Vyasa Mahabharata.)
