This sacrifice is performed to remove the effects of the Abhichara acts -
Vashyam, Akarshanam, Sthambhanam, Uchcatanam and Maranam. 5 stools are placed in front of Atavishvara. The stools are covered by silk clothes of red, black, yellow, white and green colour, Coconuts are placed on these stools. Two Kalashams are also placed. Two ritualists (sadashivan and Shashi) become possessed and perform the rituals. | |
