12.30 am to 2.00 am Kuzhibalikkuta This is performed for the benefit of those who are dead. Behind the Panappantal a structure is made of plantain stems. One ritualist (Sadashivan) sits inside. The other ritualist (Shashi) stands beside. Shashi gets possessed and is put inside the pit. He gets out and cuts of the plantain tree as well as the structure of plaintain stems.
2 am Leading the deities back to their places Appoppan and other deities are ritually taken back to their places. The Urali takes the staff and others the swords and the spear and puts them back in their places.
